Physical PAC-MAN Game
Physical PAC-MAN Game
For my Robotics capstone project, I built a physical version of the PAC-MAN game in a team of four. The game was reversed so that the user controlled the robot and Pac-Man was autonomous. LED lights under the board simulated the Pac-dots. LED grid under the casings for the Ghost and Pac-Man robots displayed animated faces. Path planning and computer vision were implemented to automate Pac-Man's movement. I designed the cover and the overall assembly structure of the Ghost and Pac-Man robots as well as the board. Starting with sketches on paper, I selected materials for casing, support structures and electronics, created CAD models of the robots and the board, and manufactured them using 3D printer, laser cutter, and sawing machine. I also designed and developed the user interface. You can access the project report.
